• Roy Hill -   Head wrestling coach and biology teacher at Hayfield.  Graduated from the Virginia Military Institute where he was a 3 sport athlete (football, wrestling, and baseball).

Class of 1976

• Don Dodd - Hayfield's first State Champion - Class of 1976 -State Champion in 1975. Attended ODU. Spent 6 years in the Army, has been working at Abbott Laboratories for 22 years and has a post graduate degree from Loyola University. Has run in over 50 marathons including 4 in Boston.

Class of 1974

• Keith Nielsen - Graduated from the University of Iowa, received a masters degree from the University of Southern California, now work as a senior design engineer for Boeing in Los Angeles, responsible for Satellite power systems.

Class of 1972

• Peter Henson - Retired as a lieutenant colonel in the Air Force, where he spent time on B-52 and B-1 bombers. He is now a Pastor at Eagle's Nest Worship Center in Omaha Nebraska.
